Ingredients for sushi burgers

It is best to use the Katana Sushi Set as a base, which contains rice, dressing, nori, ginger, wasabi, soy sauce, and more.

  • Katana sushi rice — 140 g
  • Katana rice dressing — 45 ml
  • Katana nori sheets — 4 pcs
  • Water — 180 ml
  • Lightly salted red fish — 150 g
  • Avocado — 1 pc
  • Cream cheese — 110 g

How to make a sushi burger at home – a step-by-step recipe

  1. Cook and season the rice. Rinse the rice thoroughly several times in clear water. Add 180 ml of water, bring to a boil, reduce heat to low and cook covered for 15 minutes. Then let it brew for another 15 minutes. Add the dressing from the Katana set and mix carefully.

  2. Prepare the filling. Cut the red fish and avocado into thin slices. Prepare the cream cheese for spreading.
  3. Form the sushi burger. On the rough side of the Katana nori sheet, lay out layers: a layer of rice, a layer of cream cheese, fish, avocado, and another layer of rice. Moisten the edges of the nori with water and fold to the center. Repeat the wrapping with another nori sheet for strength.
  4. Bread coating and frying. In a separate bowl, prepare the tempura mixture: 3 tablespoons of Tempura mixture + 8 tablespoons of cold water. There are 4 different flavors. Roll the burger in tempura, and then in Panko Katana breadcrumbs. Fry in hot oil until crispy golden brown on both sides.
