Glazed BBQ steaks

We offer a simple and extremely tasty recipe – juicy steaks (butts) prepared with BBQ marinade and Katana glazing sauce. Perfect for a cozy family dinner or a bright party with friends.

Ingredients

Additionally (optional):

  • Fresh herbs (parsley, dill, cilantro) for decoration
  • Fresh vegetables, potatoes, rice or salad for serving

BBQ Steaks – Cooking Steps

  1. Cut the cleaned pork chop into portioned steaks. Thickness – 1.5 cm, so that the meat retains its juiciness.
  2. Place the steaks in a deep container or zip-lock bag, pour Katana marinade and evenly distribute it over the entire surface of the meat.
  3. Close the container (or bag) and refrigerate for 2–4 hours, and if possible, overnight, so that the meat absorbs the marinade aroma better.
  4. Turn on the electric grill and set the temperature according to the manufacturer’s instructions (usually around 180–200 °C). If necessary, grease the grill surface with oil to prevent the steaks from sticking.
  5. Grill the steaks for 4–5 minutes on each side, depending on thickness and desired doneness.
  6. 1–2 minutes before the end of grilling, brush each steak with Katana Glazing Sauce using a pastry brush.
  7. Turn the meat and repeat on the other side to get an even caramelized crust.
  8. Remove the steaks from the grill and place them on a cutting board or plate.
  9. Cover with foil or a clean towel and let the meat rest for 5–7 minutes to allow the juices to redistribute evenly.

Tips for perfect steak flavor

  • Marination time: The longer the meat marinates (preferably overnight), the richer the flavor.
  • Glaze: For more intense caramelization, you can apply the glaze twice during the last 2–3 minutes of grilling.
  • Juiciness: Do not overcook steaks on the grill to avoid drying out the meat. Focus on the internal temperature.
  • Garnish:Serve with baked or fried potatoes, salad, rice, or any of your favorite vegetables.
