How to cook spring rolls

A light and fresh green snack of spring rolls, or they are also called spring sushi, is suitable for any season. This popular Asian dish combines crunchy vegetables, tender rice noodles, and fish or seafood wrapped in transparent rice paper. Thanks to Katana products, you can easily prepare spring rolls at home quickly and simply.

Ingredients

• 5 sheets of Katana rice paper
• 100 g of Katana rice noodles
• 1 carrot
• 2 medium cucumbers
• 1 red sweet pepper
• 8 lettuce leaves
• 1 avocado
• Salmon, shrimp or crab sticks – 200 g (to choose)
• 1-2 st. l. white or black sesame Katana
• Classic Katana Soy Sauce – For serving

Preparation steps

1. Prepare the rice noodles according to the instructions on the package
2. Cut all the vegetables into thin strips: cucumber, sweet pepper, carrot and avocado. Wash and dry the lettuce leaves.
3. Prepare fish, shrimp or crab sticks by cutting them into small strips or pieces.
4. Pour warm water into a wide bowl or plate.Dip each sheet of rice paper in water for a few seconds until it becomes soft. Use 2 sheets for one roll.
5. Place a lettuce leaf, some rice noodles, carrot, cucumber, pepper, salmon, shrimp or crab sticks on the bottom of the wet rice sheet. Wrap everything in a roll and twist tightly. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
6. Dip a knife in water, cut the roll into pieces and place on a plate, garnished with greens. Serve with soy sauce
